Expo Guys – Still pushing the boundaries

EXPOGUYS – STILL PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES
It’s been another big year at ExpoGuys. Sixteen years in, we’re still growing, still learning and, probably most importantly, still finding new ways to keep ourselves busy!
What started as an exhibition stand company has developed into something much broader. We’re now involved in everything from major exhibitions and custom stands to activations, corporate events and large-scale event infrastructure. Our Cape Town operation has also grown significantly, giving us a stronger footprint in the Western Cape and allowing us to service more of our clients locally.
It’s also been a rewarding year from an industry recognition perspective. Our ongoing focus on sustainability saw us recognised at the AAXO ROAR Awards, followed by Gold for Best Large Green Stand at the 2026 EXSA-llence Awards. We’re proud of the recognition, but for us sustainability is about more than awards. It’s about finding better ways to design, build, reuse and ultimately reduce the amount of waste our industry produces.
The projects are getting bigger and more diverse too. Later this year, ExpoGuys will be involved in the IEC National Results Operations Centre, adding another very different type of project to our growing portfolio. It’s a good example of how the skills, people, and infrastructure we have developed in the exhibition industry can be applied well beyond the traditional exhibition floor.
And that’s probably what keeps things interesting for us. We don’t want to just keep doing things the way they’ve always been done. In a world where so much happens on a screen, creating a physical experience that makes people stop, engage, and remember something is becoming even more important.
Sixteen years on, we’re still pushing, still experimenting, and still looking for the next challenge. And we’re pretty sure there are plenty more to come.
