Association of African Exhibition Organisers (AAXO) announces exciting schedule for Global Exhibitions Day 2017
The Association of African Exhibition Organisers (AAXO) announces an exciting schedule for what is set to include an action-packed celebration of Global Exhibitions Day at Madex from 7 to 8 June 2017. Among other activities, AAXO will be facilitating its popular Organiser and Exhibitor
Training featuring a line-up of renowned international and local speakers and launching its much-anticipated new Associate Membership. All of this will be taking place on the momentous GED17 – an event that brings together the global exhibition industry to raise awareness about the value of exhibitions – where AAXO will further be serving the local exhibition and organiser communities in a way that has never been seen before.
Armed with feedback received from the recent Cape Town Organiser and Exhibitor Training and the first ever Exhibition of Exhibitions held in 2016, the AAXO Exhibitor Training on 7 June is positioned to educate and empower exhibitors on a range of topics: Successful Planning of Exhibitions (Pre-Planning and During the Exhibition); the Importance of Safety and Disaster Management (Compliance Certificates) and; Steps to take to Utilise Exhibitions Optimally as a Marketing Tool during and after the event.
The comprehensive AAXO Organiser Training on 8 June, will expound on the topics critical to a truly thriving exhibition: Sales; Providing Additional ROI for Exhibitions; Customer Satisfaction and; Global Trends and Technology. Training is open to members and non-members of AAXO and is an excellent opportunity for organisers to invite their exhibitors for training and also networking. Speakers will be announced nearer the time, but will include internationally acclaimed sales trainer, Andy Preston.
To observe Global Exhibitions Day on 7 June, the AAXO team chose a “Serving the Industry” theme and have a few surprises in store for their partners, members and non-members.
The day will culminate with the launch of AAXO’s trailblazing new Associate Membership tier taking the association to the next level.
