PRODUCT LAUNCHES AND LIVE DEMOS AT LARGEST HERVAC TRADE EXHIBITION
FRIGAIR expo is the largest dedicated HERVAC trade exhibition in Africa showcasing the entire heating, energy, refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning industries. Many new products will be launched at FRIGAIR and live demonstrations of products will take place on many of the exhibition stands.
Owned by the South African Institute for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (SAIRAC) and one of their premier events, the FRIGAIR exhibition will take place from 01 – 03 June 2022 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, in Midrand.
Visiting the expo will give access to 100+ stands and all the latest technology, designs and methodology the HERVAC sectors have to offer.
New products launched, live demos
ALPA, the sole distributor to CAMFIL in South Africa, will be launching their unique ALPA HEPA Housing Unit and visitors will have the opportunity to book a one-on-one demonstration at their stand.
Showcasing their new range of smart, digital refrigeration manifolds, air flow measurement devices and refrigeration leak detectors, Testo South Africa will also be launching a new Testo innovation.
On the Danfoss stand, there will be up-to-date information about Food retail, Industrial refrigeration, Heating and Commercial refrigeration. They will be demonstrating their products through Augmented Reality. A competition will be run at their stand where lucky draws will take place regularly.
Complementing Colcoil Technologies’ full range of refrigeration racks, packs and coils, a full range of CO2 racks is now available. In partnership with contractor partners, Colcoil will release the new range to market at FRIGAIR.
Emerson will be presenting New Cool featuring transcritical scroll compressors with Dynamic Vapor Injection, specially designed for CO2 booster racks. Don’t miss the new product launch of the ZX unit 10-20 horse power with fixed capacity.
Specialising in providing a one-stop-shop solution to the retail industry, Frigrite Africa will be launching new Island Freezers at FRIGAIR this year. Manufactured by Fricon, the CLS model Island Freezers offer a solution for product display with high net volume and product exposure and are environmentally friendly solutions using low impact refrigerant.
Just Refrigeration will be launching their range of remote and self-contained supermarket display fridges which complement each other for value-added solutions for any supermarket.
Concord has some exciting things to show at this year’s FRIGAIR Expo, ranging from traditional retail display equipment to other retail necessities. Join them at their stand for a beer and some insight into their new offerings.
Visitors to the TCL and TecsReco stands will be able to fill in an entry form with a chance to win one of two 60″ 4K Android TVs with voice control and Google Assistant; two soundbars; and a portable air conditioner. At the show, they will be launching a new Friga Systems refrigeration unit, a black mirror WIFI enabled midwall split, as well as a modern 48 000 BTU floor standing unit which is both versatile and elegant.
Glacier Door Systems will be launching their new Infinity Glass Door. Designed with edge to edge glass and screen print border, this Door offers increased visibility and a more modernised look and feel.
Invotech Multiplex units, which provide greater efficiency and temperature control along with a reduced refrigerant charge, will be launched by Refrimate.
Vent Fans are launching their new range of in-line fans and their fans will be available for running live demonstrations.
Visitors will also be able to see a live installation of Rickard Air Diffusion’s Zone Controller integrated with multiple AHUs and a Rickard diffuser network. Also, their Multi-Zone FCU Controller will be connected to a working Fan Coil Unit, zoned pressure controlled VAV diffusers, all working without needing pressure sensors, controllers and dampers.
Aolan’s portable and commercial evaporative coolers will be on display and there will be live demonstrations of how their energy-saving evaporative cooling system works.
Free-to-attend workshops, ASHRAE courses
SAIRAC is hosting free-to-attend workshops that will run concurrently with the exhibition. The programme can be located on the FRIGAIR website www.frigairexpo.co.za. SAIRAC arranged ASHRAE short courses will also be delivered concurrently with FRIGAIR. Visit the website for more information as well as booking availability – space is limited so best do this in advance.
This year for the first time, other relevant exhibitions will be co-located with FRIGAR to extend the visitor experience. They include A-OSH Expo, Securex, Firexpo and Facilities Management.
By registering online to attend FRIGAIR, visitors will also have automatic access to these events (located in a different hall at Gallagher Convention Centre).
