Dedicated hardware and related DIY industries showcase returns in 2024
Specialised Exhibitions has announced the return of Hardex Africa as a stand-alone show in 2024. As one of Africa’s leading hardware and DIY events, stakeholders can look forward to a broad reaching showcase of the latest innovations, technologies and products that these exciting industries have to offer.
Hardex Africa will be taking place at the Expo Centre in Nasrec, Johannesburg, from 1-3 October 2024, with a wide range of general hardware, power and hand tools, building materials, DIY products, plumbing, ladders, paint and coatings, adhesives and sealants, shop fittings, home improvement, and much more, on display during the three days of the show.
“We are delighted that Hardex Africa will be back as a stand-alone show,” says Gary Corin, Managing Director at Specialised Exhibitions, organisers of the show. “It is built on a reputation of excellence, and we believe the time is right for the show to return. There is significant potential for growth in this sector and industry players – buyers and sellers of hardware and related DIY products – have signalled support for an expo of this nature.”
“We are committed to reaching an even wider market and attracting the most influential players in these industries, and Hardex Africa will be offering unparalleled opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing and business growth,” says Corin. “Globally, there is a continued and growing momentum towards participation in face-to-face trade shows, with levels surpassing that of 2019 in many countries. We have seen this first hand with excellent results being reported by those taking part in our shows throughout 2022 and into 2023. Exhibitions continue to be recognised for their ability to effectively connect people and industries, buyers and sellers.”
Hardex Africa will attract specifiers, buyers and sourcing agents, builders’ merchants and general dealers, sanitaryware and plumbing product stockists, franchise groups and chain stores, building contractors and traders, and industrial distributors, amongst others. Each will benefit by attending Hardex Africa 2024 to source products and services that will support the growth and reach of their business.”
For further value and learning, a seminar theatre will be positioned in the exhibition hall where industry experts will share their knowledge and insights through engaging presentations and panel discussions.
